 Mr Rowlands Mrs Bell Mr Stirling
Your final year in primary school! It’s hard work but it’s also lots of fun with many varied activities and trips to go on. The teachers are Mrs Bell, Mr. Rowlands and Mr. Stirling. Curriculum English –--- Exciting novels, various forms of writing, speaking and listening.
Maths –--- Percentage, volume, co-ordinates, problem solving and practical work only to mention a few areas of maths covered.
Science –--- Find out more about ourselves, materials, friction, electricity, solids and gases.
History –---How we lived during Victorian times and what life was like at home for people during World War Two. Find out about Irish emigration in Victorian Times. 
Geography –--- Map-work, natural disasters, European Union and discover the fascination of the Tropical Rainforest 
PE ---- Hockey, netball, rugby, gymnastics, dance and athletics 
ICT –--- Extra time for P7’s in the computer suite.
Music –--- Recorders, orchestra, guitars, choir and composing.
Art –--- Lots of art related to our subjects using paints, chalks, magazines, newspapers, charcoal etc. RE ---- Presenting assemblies, learn about Daniel, Paul’s journeys, and the life of CS Lewis. Activities EMU ---- We are linked with St Aloysius and St. Joseph’s Primary Schools. We visit them and work on varied topics with them.
School Trips ---- We go on residential trips at the end of June every year. You can choose from Isle of Man, an adventure holiday, where you go mountain biking, abseiling, canoeing, sailing, raft building, gorge walking, orienteering, air rifle shooting and much more. If you prefer you can go to Manchester and visit Old Trafford, Alton Towers, Debdale Water Centre and more. 
Choir ---- We practise every Wednesday afternoon.
Sports after school ---- Football, netball, rugby, cricket, hockey and volleyball.
Swimming ---- Practise for your Life Savers certificate.
Responsibilities ----Pupils are given the opportunity to help look after the infants during playtimes and help with P1 induction.
