Harmony Hill Nursery Unit

Welcome to Harmony Hill Primary School Nursery Unit

The Nursery Unit at Harmony Hill is an integral and important part of the Primary School and shares its distinctive ethos of care and support for all children.

The aim of the Nursery Unit is to provide an environment where children feel secure and happy and will acquire knowledge, understanding, skills, positive values and good attitudes to learning through play.

We enable each child to learn and develop by nurturing their interests and strengths, whilst providing support to meet their individual needs. We work in close partnership with parents to create strong and harmonious links between home and school. We also foster strong links with the local community.

Harmony Hill Nursery has a morning and afternoon class, each for 2.5 hours, 5 days a week. Classes are held in the purpose-built Nursery which was established in 2001, situated at the rear of the Primary School grounds. Facilities include a large indoor playroom with avariety of play areas including; sand and water trays, play dough table, painting easel, role play corner, jigsaws, construction and small world toys. We also have an extensive outdoor play area including a large sand house, outdoor play house and garden.
